Hear what other welders have to say

Hey I’m Chris from Oklahoma. I have several Up In Smoke Welding Apparel products and love every one of them! The picture shows me wearing the testudo 3.0 welding jacket with the hood. It’s very lightweight, but durable and FR resistant—the sparks just roll off the sleeves. Up In Smoke provides great quality products and wonderful customer service! Go check them out!”
I’ve worked the welding and pipe trades industry for a decade, from 7/12s downhill pipeline to building trades fabrication and its many welding processes. Over the years I burned and tattered many different brands and styles of welding garments from FR to leather and everything in between. I finally discovered the Up In Smoke Welding Apparel and the Retro Thorax is my go to garment for all my needs! It stays together and warm during the harsh Alaskan winter pipeline months and has more protection than any garment I’ve used in the past! I still have my original Thorax from day one, three years later but continue to buy more of the Up In Smoke products because of the comfort, style and durability! Thanks Up In Smoke Welding Apparel for the best garments in the industry!
