Why does the leather on my garment have imperfections on it?
We use good quality leather and do our best to cutout these parts. The imperfections are part of the animals life from scratching on barbwire to street fighting, to being branded as part of an elite grass eating crew.

Every company says they use high quality FR material, how do we know yours will stand up to the test?
The Contego meets the requirements of CAN/CGSB-155.2000 workwear for protection against hydrocarbon flash fire. Fire retardant testing was done at the equipment research facility at the University of Alberta on Mar. 13, 2015. The garment’s were tested in accordance with the ASTM F1930-13 standard test method for evaluation of flame resistant clothing for protection against fire simulations using; an instrumented manikin (at a three second exposure). Our garments held up extremely well, and we were beyond satisfied with the results. Tests performed on the CONTEGO resulted in 4.0% of the mannequin surface, or 0.3% area under the garment, calculated as the mean of three replications, predicted to receive 2nd degree burn injury or worse.
