This jacket is nothing short of amazing. I have been welding overhead this past week—I mean, just getting blasted with 6010 weld spatter—and it bounces off this jacket like it was made of concrete. I can weld in any position, focusing on producing sound welds instead of trying not to catch fire. Cheap insurance to avoid second-degree burns. For sizing reference, I'm 5'10, 265 lbs. The XXL fit well, with plenty of room to add layers. I run hot, so normally I just wear t-shirts under them. Not sure if the XL would be too tight, but something to consider. If, for some reason, I shred this one, I'll definitely buy it again.

The fit was perfect. I knew my sizing from buying a CK worldwide Tig Welding Jacket that's made by Up In Smoke. I'm 5'10 250lb 2XL is where it's at I can even wear thicker shirts underneath when weather acts up.

This is a really nice, high quality shirt. Heavy enough to be jacket, but light enough to not be constricting. I do not like combursome PPE if it doesnt need to be, and this is not. I spoke with Mac about this shirt, and he was extremely helpful in making a decision. I'm 5'11" and got a large. Its roomy enough to wear a light sweatshirt or thermals under if needed. UIS's customer service is beyond what I'd ever expected! You won't be disappointed choosing this shirt.
